This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to design and deliver safe, effective exercise sessions. You'll learn the fundamentals of exercise, proper technique and how to structure engaging workouts for all fitness levels and abilities.

But it's not just about the exercises! We'll also focus on essential instructor skills like effective communication, creating a positive and inclusive environment, and keeping your participants motivated and coming back for more.

Also within this course, you will be taught how to plan and deliver safe and effective group circuit training sessions.

Content:

Anatomy and Physiology - Gain an understanding of the body systems, how they work and how they adapt to exercise.
- Cardiorespiratory system
- Musculoskeletal system
- Nervous system
- Energy System

Principles of Fitness - Gain an understanding on how to plan warm ups, cool downs and programmes for various clients, using a range of cardiovascular machines, resistance machines and body weight exercises.

Planning and Teaching Gym Based Sessions - Gain an understanding on how to deliver safe gym inductions for a range of clients, showcasing your knowledge and skills.

Circuit Training - Gain an understanding on how to plan and deliver group circuit sessions. Learn the skills to progress, regress and adapt exercises for multiple abilities.

Our fitness level 2 courses are delivered with a blended approach. Meaning that some parts of your course are completed in your own time at your own pace and other parts, such as practical are delivered face to face.

You will be able to access course content via the Suada app and website. This is where you will complete your course.

Additional resources and content to help with your course and your future as a Personal Trainer will be accessible through G-Drive.

Your tutor will always be on hand to help you and you can request additional one-on-one time, to help understand the content in more detail and to help with the revision.

Some elements of your course will be delivered face to face in one of our gyms or a gym that is local to you. These sessions will focus on the practical elements of your course, giving you the skills to pass your assessment.

Practical

Our level 2 fitness instructor course is assessed mainly through the Suada app or website. Once you have completed all sections and answered the questions correctly, your work will then be assessed. On some occasions you may need to upload a video, recapping the content to show understanding.

Once the above elements are completed, your tutor will be notified and will assess each element and will give you a decision on whether it has passed, or needs re-assessment. You will be emailed, as well as notified through Suada.

Your practical element will be assessed face to face in one of our gyms or a gym local to you. On the odd occasion we can't get to you, you can opt for a video assessment.

Once all elements of your course has been completed and signed off by your tutor. It will be sent to our lead IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) before certification.
